Ashley and Louise's Wedding. In Construction.
An event of a lifetime for the wedding pair, the Dalgarno family, and ourselves, and all the relations and friends that attended. Truly a fairytale story.
There were so many events within the ceremony and the reception that need comments in their own right, and will be added as the story unfolds.
Ashley and Louise had known each other for a number of years, and last year decided to tie the knot, publicly announce their love for each other, and exchange rings of eternal affection and support.
The ceremony was held in the town of Ennis, Ireland. Within the Saint's Peter and Paul Cathedral, dating back to 1843. Father Tom Hogan presided over the ceremony.
Father Tom had a relaxed manner about him, producing many giggles, laughter and comments throughout the ceremony, all received with due candor. The Maids of Honour were very attentive during the ceremony, attending to the presentation of the Bride and her wonderful dress. The Flower Girls presented their rings of Lilies and Roses as part of the ceremony.
Those present were Ashley's Grandmother, his parents and their families, Louise's parents, her family and many friends throughout Ireland, UK and many places throughout the world, all congregated to witness the happy event. Then there were even more family and friends congregated to see the Bride and Groom's betrothal.
All that was left of the wedding cake was the top layer, which in turn was divided into 4 quadrants, and I never had a taste of it. The lower levels were of a sponge mix while the top level was a fruit cake....and I love fruit cake.
